Seems like an inefficient use of money, maybe while they're (necessarily) subsidizing putting in EV charging stations everywhere along with the power grid overhaul, they could make them all 5G access points then broadband is more a matter of just having the modem.

I was on the old program that allowed around $10/mo. My bill was still over $60/mo for 25Mb Bonded DSL. New program kicked that up to around $40/mo which brings my bill down to the $20 range.
