Original problem fixed.

Just a Q here about Ebay.

Say I sold an iPod and it got to the user and he had problems with it. It left working, delievered insured and the other person just doesn't know how to make it work and has problems with it. I don't care as I know it left working and just don't care about the other guy. He wants money back I've already checked it out to my account.

Now what can actually happen here?

I'm just wondering.

Take it back and charge him 15% or just take the neg and be done with it. Some people are clueless.

Thanks for the input.

Yeah charge him 15% would be good. Didn't think of that. Yeah I thought he was clueless also but he emailed after my help and he managed to get it working.

But what *can actually* be done about him getting his money back?

Send him a check? If you used paypal, you can select refund, don't know how it works if you don't have any money available though.

From now on, put it in your auction description. I have something along the lines of all sales final unless specifically noted, for DOA returns, money will only be returned after item has been returned and accepted. If not DOA, 20% service charge will apply to the full final auction price. Shipping is non-refundable.

Good idea I think I'll adopt that to from now on thanks.

I meant *how* could he get his money back? I could always send him a cheque or just transfer some money over in to my account and on to him.
