how does "buy it now" work...i see something i want and the bid right now is at $ 7.99 with no bids and 2 days left...or there is a buy it now option for $12 ...which is better...putting my high bid as $12 and hope no one else bids or just buy it now and not get out bid later on?

Its up to you. Buy it now, you get it now, no competition.

Rule of thumb here.... if youre not sure whether to buy it now, look at similar completed items. Usually identical items end at near identical prices. If the ending prices are near the buy it now price, just buy it now, because waiting to bid wont save you any money.

yeah its a hat...normal price on the web ive seen is $20...right now this is at $8 ...there are no other ones on Ebay of this team taht i can find
