Anyone ever sell anything on ebay? Is there anything I should look out for? I got a couple of tips like make sure the auction ends on a weekend, and start the bidding low.
 
Make sure the auction ends on a SUNDAY EVENING, not just the weekend. eBay traffic is low (predictably) on Friday/Saturday nights.

Include photos in your description, be VERY descriptive and make your listing look nice.

Really?

Granted, I've MOSTLY sold PC parts, but I've found that ending auctions on Friday at around 5pm or Monday at around 5pm seems to get the best bids. I think I'm targetting the people who just had a crappy day at work and are 'stress impulse-buying'.

Like...uhhh...well, me, really.
