I'm the owner of the item that you've recently bided on eBay through the eBay system, Item number: (300173876719). I`ll provide you 5 days money back guarantee, no questions asked. That means within 5 working days you decide if you don't want to keep the item. In order to purchase the deal through eBay all you have to do is to send me exactly those info:
First name:
Last name:
Address:
City/State:
Country:
Zip:
Item#:
I need the details exactly like i have requested, because I`ll forward all the details to eBay and right after that they will contact us with all the instructions to proceed the deal, also you will receive from them instructions about the payment method. Shipping and handling will be supported by me since this is a eBay Offer.
Waiting for your answer!

What is this seller talking about?
I bid on a "new" N76 Red. I won the auction for $150. These things sell for $400. I got it for a steal.
I am assuming she knows it is not "new" and wants to play this game with me.

Looks legit to me, just in case make sure to include your SS #, all CC numbers, bank passwords & ATM card. Probably wouldn't hurt to also include a power of attorney......

WTF!&!^@

I sent this email to the person:
> I recently won the auction for the Nokia N76. It says the phone is
"new".
> Does that mean it comes in a sealed box and that it is unlocked?

I received this email in return:
if you are really interested, now all you have to do is to send me
exactly this information's:
eBay ID
First name
Last name
Address
City
state
Zip
Country
Best Price
Item #
I need the details exactly like I have requested, because I have to
forward the email to eBay.In short time, they will contact you with an
Invoice in order to complete this transaction! I'll handle the
delivery, so this will be free of charge for you.
Looking forward to hearing from you. I am dealing only thru eBay!
Thank you

This is after I made this thread. She keeps sending me the same B.S. I am getting annoyed. I never had a problem with Ebay :(

After reading this thread it hit me..

It is a scam because he is going to send me a fake Ebay page with all that information I sent him. I'm supposed to click on it actually believing it is a real ebay page.
He either wants my password or my credit card information.

At least that is what I think

That is ridiculous. The few times we've bought through ebay, we went through dealers for things like Playstation games, etc. I won't deal with the rest of them.

Who am I supposed to contact at ebay?
I emailed customer support and they responded with:

Hello,

The message that you received is not a real Second Chance Offer. It is
a
fraudulent email from someone attempting to sell an item outside of
eBay.

How can you tell if a Second Chance Offer email is legitimate?

You can make sure that a Second Chance Offer is legitimate by checking
your My Messages section of My eBay. All legitimate Second Chance
Offers
will be forwarded from eBay and will appear in My Messages. Real Second

Chance Offers will never direct you to email the seller or contact them

at a different email address.

That is all they said. What a load of crap. I don't want this guy to give me negative feedback. I hate Ebay.
