Ebay: Whats the best time to start and end an auction???

Personally I like to end my auctions on weekdays between 3PM-6PM PST. You should wait till people get off work and can go home for access to a computer.

if i'm doing weekdays, i like to do ~6:30PST for ending, the west coast people are home from work and the east coasters haven't gone to bed yet. i haven't noticed any particular day being better, although i would guess that friday might not be great to end on (more people going out).

It always depends on what you are selling and who you think is most likely to buy it.

If you are selling children's toys, you probably want the auction to end in the middle of the day for all the stay at home parents. If you are selling electronics for the 20 something male, you probably want the aution to end between 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. EST.

Also, The weekend is always a good time to end an auction, especially Sunday.

weekday nights seem to work best for me. around 6:15pm to 6:30 pm, as everyone stated. Pay the extra dime and get a time between there ;-) PST of course
