Something's wrong with my eBay account, and Auction Sniper is being stupid too. I've had the same eBay password since I made the account, and ignore all "From eBay" e-mails asking for my password; I'm not going to get phished.

I just lost a snipe on a Japanese DS game, and I tried to login to eBay, from www.ebay.com, and my password stopped working! I logged into AuctionSniper, and it had a notification saying that it couldn't authorize my eBay account.

So I changed my password at ebay.com (I got no e-mails saying that I had changed my password prior to actually changing it myself) and then tried to change it in AuctionSniper; it won't accept it. I'm fucking stumped, I hope someone doesn't have control of my eBay/PP/GMail/AuctionSniper accounts :(

I'm stumped.

and ignore all "From eBay" e-mails asking for my password;

Problem is, the real Ebay and fake Ebay emails look pretty much the same. I usually send them the phishing emails. About 6 months ago I sent them one and they emailed me back because it was authentic and there was unauthorized activity on my account and my account was disabled.

My vote is, you deleted a real Ebay email saying your account had been compromised.

I read them though (the fake ones). I've gotten a few in the past, and I usually follow up on them. Plus, had my account been compromised, I would've gotten the PayPal e-mail saying that they couldn't add the PP badge to my auctions, whether I have any or not, because my password had changed.
