----------
1. What is a reserve auction?
When a seller uses the reserve price option, they set a reserve price,
which is the lowest price at which a seller is obligated to sell an
item.
The seller specifies the reserve price when he or she lists an item,
which is an amount over the minimum bid. Then when the auction begins,
it will start at the minimum bid amount that the seller also chooses.
During a Reserve Price Auction, a notice will be displayed on the
listing page next to the item's current price.
eBay will never disclose a seller's reserve price to bidders. When a
bidder's maximum bid is equal to or greater than the reserve price, the
item's current price is raised to the reserve price. At this time, the
item information will indicate that the reserve price has been met. The
bidder is also notified that his or her bid met the reserve. However,
once the Reserve is met bidder's can still place bids on the item until
the auction's close.
Reserve Price Auctions are not available for Dutch Auctions.
Note: Additional fees apply for Buy It Now and Reserve Price Auctions.
When using the reserve price option please note the minimum reserve must
not be lower thean £50.00. If you decide to put a reserve on your
auction, there is an Additional Reserve Price Auction Fee (fully
refunded if item sells):
If your Reserve price is between:
£50.00 and £4,999.99 = 2% of the Reserve price
£5,000.00 and up = £100.00
For Real Estate = £2.00
For Motors there is a flat rate of £3.00

2. How do I change my reserve price?
You may revise your item and reserve price as long your item has not
received any bids yet. On the item listing page you want to edit, look
for "Update item" near the top part of the listing and click on
"revise."
If your item has received a bid, the only way to lower or remove the
reserve amount is to end the listing early and list the item again.
Instructions on how to do this are below:
1. Click on the "Site Map" and find the link called "End my listing
early." This link is located in the middle column, towards the top. You
will need the item number from your listing.
2. If there are bids on your item, please choose "Cancel bids and end
the listing early"
3. Choose the reason you are ending your listing early.
4. Once this is completed your listing will end and will no longer be
displayed on eBay. All bidders will be emailed and told that their bid
was cancelled and the listing ended early.
----------
3. How do I relist the listing with the new reserve price?
To relist the item with a different reserve price, please go to the
ended listing page and click on the "relist this item" link. Be sure to
lower or remove the reserve price before resubmitting your listing.
NOTE: You cannot use the "relist your item" link on your listing page if
you want to add or raise your reserve price. Furthermore it is not
possible to make a Personal Offer on items where the reserve Price has
not been met.
