Ebay to buy Skype??

Not a clue, but if they fsck it up my girlfriend will be pissed 😛 She is out of town and we use it a LOT 🙂


Maaybe so Ebay can tap into the 4-5 million consecutive users at a time and spam them with ads for ebay?

Skype is a voice chat program. Basically free VOIP quality calls to anyone who has the program, AND you can pay for a service that connects it to real phones too for cheaper than phone cards, to any country.. You can also pay to tie it to up to 5 real phone numbers across the world, so you can make it local calls for people to call you.


Biggest perk of it is free voice chat, support for multiple users in same call. Higher quality than Ventrillo/Teamspeak, but supports less users and not server-based.
