Ebay Theoretical Question

ok, i sold an item to a person on Ebay with delivery confirmation through USPS Priority Mail. when the person bought the item through Ebay, both Ebay and PayPal (since he used a credit card) gave me his confirmed address. the buyer did not specify another address to send the item to.

the item has already been sent and delivered, yet the person who bought it claims he has not received it yet (although he acknowledges that it was delivered). who's fault if anyones?

Here's a situtation where somebody recommended that they file a police report. do yall suggest the same?

So, let me get this right? You shipped it, he said it was delivered, but he didn't receive it? How does he know it was delivered? Does USPS priority offer tracking?

DC is != to tracking, but in this case it doesn't matter if they are equal. If you offered an optional insurance and the buyer chose to not opt for isurance, it is the buyer's fault. If you did not offer insurance I believe it would be your fault. I don't know how PayPal/eBay will take this case, but I believe it is based on the "insurance" issue.
