ebay suspension/blocked accounts

Anyone face this? Somehow my account is being associated with a suspended account. Yet ebay in there email provides zero explanation for this association.

I've sold 1 damn thing and have only bought stuff.

Plus they took away their live chat help.

Arghh..

the ebay account they say I'm associated with is laptopsmith

if anyone has any info on who laptopsmith and what the hell they do please reply.

I wish I can call ebay up and complain. there's a toy I want to get for my nephew but I can't. the freaking blocked my account.

I can't remember what I had to do....I got banned selling retail microsoft software.

Turns out Microsoft reported it as OEM.

Took about 6 months to get resolved...i believe I ended up finding a phone number to call to speak to someone live.

You can always create a new account or use a buddy's account and pay him/her back.

Weird. Had the same thing happen to me. Well, not ME, but one of my email addresses got the same message, but I was never associated with the linked person that they suggested. I don't worry about that as I've never given them the email address to which they sent this notice, though I don't know how they got my email address.

well I eventually found their online live help but its useless ask me for user id and emial only to give me a link to their stupid useless form.

they tell me I violted a user agreement but don't even outline which I supposedly violated.

further more the account "laptopsmith" isn't even registered with ebay anymore.

its really ticking me off. I have 5 hours to hopefully resolve this and restore my account and still make it in for the toy and possibly a laptop.

Yes I can make a new one or use someone else. They have my credit card on file and I can't check what the laptopsmith person did. I know I can dispute the any charges but it such a hassle.

if anyone has a phone number where I can speak to a person. please help me out.

still no word from ebay. tried logging in now I'm indefinitely suspended. Still I get no reason. other than first email saying I'm associated with another ebay account.

anyone who has ebay's phone number please post. I really like to speak to a human being.
