Browsing ebay I found a listing for something I wanted to buy, and in the description the seller stated he had extra ones that he would be selling. I sent him an e-mail stating that I would like one and inquiring about the legitimacy of everything, and he sent me an invoice through ebay / square trade. It has an invoice number on it .. and everything on the invoice insures buyer satisfaction and protection, but how do I know if the invoice is a fake? The individual claims there is a problem with his paypal account and will only accept a money order through western union. [for this reason, i asked for the transaction to go through ebay .. and asked about paypal but he said it would not work for him]
I have a copy of the invoice but on the square trade website I can't find anything to put an invoice number and try to verify it is a legit invoice... Any help is greatly appreciated!
and fyi - i know if i think it's wrong i probably shouldn't do it .. but if everything is guaranteed then there's no reason not to go for it, which is why i'm trying to verify everything! thanks again!
