Happened to me before with a 17" powerbook. Luckily I knew someone in the FBI and had his azz thrown in jail for quite some time. Still didn't get my money back though =(. The user had been buying/selling shoes and sportwear, and now all of a sudden this stuff.

happens a lot....probably some romanian/hungarian/russian hacker.

This is a hijacked account. They list a few dozen one day auctions, redirect the PayPal payments to some account in eastern Europe, and disappear.

Look at the users history. Alot of the buyers/sellers are 'no longer registered'. I don't believe this is a hijacked account. I'm leaning towards the user pulling this off.

I don't think he's been building up his feedback for the last four years to pull off this scam. 'no longer registered' is very common with low feedback people...usually they get a few negs and then 'restart' on another id. Someone hijacked his account.

oh well, I looked him up and sent him an email, hopefully he'll check his ebay account before it's too late...
