ebay should be no smoking!

just got a motherboard off EBAY, i didnt need it, and wasnt planning on winning it, but i felt the effects of sods law and my measly £15 bid won.

recieved it today and i gagged when i opened the box......it smells like this guy smoked a million fags right into his computer. its disgusting.

the foam is litterally soaked in stale i love you smoke, the PCB/mobo is covered in dust and pretty much has stale tobacco smoke fused to it. have to keep the box in a cupboard under the stairs it reeks that much

Can you imagine if they guy was a pothead? I bought a cpu once from someone and the container reaked of weed. Sick.

I got an XBox off of ebay where, upon cleaning it when I first got it, realized that the previous owner must have spilled his bong water or dip spit all over it. I could never figure it out... lucky for me isopropyl alcohol is awesome. Vacuumed it, doused it, let it dry... was mostly cleaned, runs fine.

sorry we brits use the term i love you alot when refering to ciggs

yes it is also used to mean "gay" but we or at least i just tend to use the word gay to mean gay.


also sods law = murphys law basically the if u think it wont/cant happen it will law

I think it is funny the differences in countries...

In England you say you are gonna smoke a i love you means you are gonna smoke a cigarette
In the US, in some parts, if you say you are gonna smoke a i love you, you are gonna kill some gay person.

Reminds me of a story of a long time ago.

I dated this British chick for a while and she was a smoker. Whenever she lit up, usually when we were drinking, she'd usually hold out her cigarette pack and ask "Fancy a i love you?".

My buddy bought a mobo from a local "computer repair shop" in our town. The damn thing smelled like ciggs so bad it stunk up the whole house. The mobo was covered in dirt and the freakin box had ash in it! I mean come on, if you smoke, thats fine, but done make everything else around you crappy with your smokey breath and ash flying all over.
