Ebay selling fees

their selling fees page explains that you can use paypal as a way of paying for the fees associated with listing an option but whenever i login to my account it wants credit card information in order for me to sell something (ive never sold anything through my account previously on ebay.. only bought items..) anyone know how i can make this use my paypal account rather then having to input my credit card info? also anyone ever use the Verify ID method?

I believe you now have to have a CC# on file regardless of how you pay.

I signed up long ago when all you needed was an address. 😛

thats scary 🙁 I hate having to register with places that keep my credit card information on file, AKA buy.com, amazon.com, and now EBAY.COM !! 🙁

I have a CC on file but it expired like all CC's do. So now I pay all my selling fees with Paypal. It works fine.

Perhaps you can put a CC on file and then cancel that card with your CC company asking for a new one, Ebay will tell you at the end of each month your charge did not go through and you must pay your fees. Do so with Paypal.
