Here's a link of a discussion i had on another board where I/we figured out what I'm actually getting.
atariage 5200 forum

Basically, I paid $50, for a 5200 controller that normally goes for $50. Then upon closer inspection of the picture(after i won the autcion and paid for it at Pay pal), I/We realized it was a colecovision controller, that typically goes for less than $10!
Point is, the item description for the joystick stated it to be a Wico 5200 controller. Here's the item description:
The WICO Joystick itself offered here will put a real ARCADE-QUALITY feel to your 5200 gaming! It has an extra-long handle with textured grip that is over 3" long with the MAIN FIRE BUTTON conveniently placed on the top, FOUR extra fire/function buttons on the SIDES, and a WEIGHTED BASE that is over 1" thick so you can lay it flat on a tabletop to play!! The cord is coiled for neatness and extends to over SIX FEET LONG so you can kick back and relax while playing! This 5200 joystick also includes a FULL 5200 KEYPAD on it, as well. This is in SAME AS NEW Condition, having ben barely used, if at all! Get this and FEEL THE QUALITY!! . It was very difficult to find these even way back when they came out all those years ago, and it's MUCH harder to find them today, especially any that are still in BEAUTIFUL condition like THESE are! They didn't sell for very high prices way back then for nothing! AND THEY'RE GUARANTEED TO WORK! Own a TRUE piece of Video Game History! NO MORE OF THESE HAVE EVER BEEN MADE SINCE THEN, NOR EVER WILL BE!!

Based on the feedback, the seller seams like an honest guy that will act as this is an honest mistake and refund my money. If not, what course(s) of action can I take?

I e-mailed him yesterday asking if he shipped it yet and if not, that he shouldn't do so and refund my money via check or pay pal. If he did ship it, I'd expect that I should be able to ship it back and get a full refund.

I guess, if all refund attempts fail, what should I do??

It says that in the description and the auction title, you should be entitled to your money back. Since it was something that you could have noticed BEFORE you bid by checking out the picture, I think it's only right that you offer to refund his listing fees

It might be the real deal, sometimes sellers use templates from older auctions and forget to change the pic, or mistakenly use a pic from an older auction, that sort of thing happens often actually. It's rare for the description itself to claim to be something it isn't (unless it's obvious fraud, but this seller's feedback rating does not suggest such a thing).

The ad was misleading. One would have to be an atari fanatic, which I'm not, to realize this. It was only later on after visiting some sites to find out what games are the most rare, etc... I found a page with all Atari 5200 joysticks on it. The one I bought looked nothing like any Wico joystick for the 5200. This was after i paid for it. The sellers description says it's for the 5200. How am I at fault. That like selling a truck with a V8 in it and showing them the engine which isa V6. If one is not very familiar with engines, what would they know by looking at the engine that it's a V6. You would be trusting the comments of the seller, wouldn't you?

Second point. This should not have been in the Atari section of Ebay. it should have been in the Colecovision section. I, as were all other bidders, was assuming it was an Atari joystick at least.
