I was checking my feedback and i noticed that i have left 158 feedbacks for people. not a lot but still significant for me. that means that technically i should have 158 feedbacks left for me. right?

anyway, only 133 people left feedback for me. what happened to the last 25? I say they are just lazy.

Maybe they thought you were an anal-retentive, obsessed whiner and thought that they were doing you a favor by leaving no feedback instead of a negative.
 
are you sure thats the actual feedback total? I just clued in a few months ago that the number next to my name is my unique feedback total.. but i have more than that in the list. 😛 duh moment
 
I am sure. I left 158 feedbacks and have only received a total of 133 which included some duplicates and one negative
 
some of those sellers tend not to leave feedback. but recently, last 5 transactions or so, when i dont see feedback left for me after a week, i would email the sellers and say i will leave neutral feedback if i do not see feedback left for me. i just tell them that feedback is important to me and since i completed my part of the transaction first (paid already, waiting for item), i should get my feedback first. needless to say, i had my feedback left the same day after the email.
 
If I get my stuff, but it was a huge fvcking hassle...I don't leave feedback. And if some one doesn't leave feedback for me first...I don't leave feedback.

I never leave feedback first, sure I miss out on some feedback because others do the same thing...but I'm not going to say "great seller A+++" and then get the negative bomb dropped on my ass at day 89.

And sometimes, I just plain forget.
 
I only leave feedback when I get feedback first. Some a-holes put in positive feedback, but leave some smug comment like "well it wasnt exactly what I expected but great transaction"...I'm not leaving them positive.
 
people treat feeback like it's gold, but it's not. negs WILL happen, if you're a good seller, you don't need to worry about them. The positives will outweigh the negs, if someone doesn't want to bid on my item because a NARU'd bidder with a -2 fb rating decided to neg me, than more power to them. I don't need their business if they can't handle a 99.5% feedback rating. If they want perfection , they can find it elswhere, because the fact is mistakes can and will happen, and as a seller I try to do everything I can to make things right with the buyer. Just make sure you package well, communicate, don't overcharge for shipping, and ship timely, and you'll be ok. It's pretty straightforward. Look at it this way, newegg doesn't have a perfect 10 on resellerratings. Yet we all still buy from them. Because they know how to treat their customers, even when something goes wrong.
 
^ yeah, I don't expect a seller to have perfect ratings because there's tons of fvcktards out there. If they have 100 positive and 1 negative I'll usually go read the negative. Its almost always something like "Didn't respond to my email withing 2 hours of auction!!!! I need my beanie baby now!"
 
There are alwasys the reply and follow-up options too... those can usually bail you out of a neg that someone leaves unjustly.

You're doing much better then me! I have been selling for over 2 years and so far only 92 positive!!!

I think the amount of people who leave feedback for me on items I sell is at most 10% 🙁
