eBay Question - is this legit?

I have a buyer who bid and won an auction that clearly specifies that I will ship within the US. He's located in Saipan, MP. (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/pacific/maps/images/maps_02_04.jpg)

The payment came from a verified account with a confirmed address and he has good ebay feedback, however is not communicating at all. It took him a few days to get the payment and has not responded to any of my messages, am I safe shipping to that address because it's confirmed?

good luck. i wouldn't do it.
Well, it is a US territory, usually I specify only continental 48 states along with hawaii/alaska but this time I just said US, so I suppose they might have thought it would work.... issue is that there's no communication at all

Depends on who you're shipping with. You probably should check into what it will cost to get your item there - it may cost more than you got for shipping.

Ironically, the slow payment and poor response indicate to me that it is NOT a scam. I would go ahead and send the item. As 6-1 stated above, make sure your shipping is covered and next time, specify lower 48 states 😛

Well, a confirmed address means it'll go to the owner of that PP account, so if it's stolen, they'll simply get an item in the mail they didn't want/buy. Put a copy of the PP receipt in there, with your email on it, if it ends up with someone who didn't buy it, they can email you and send it back for a refund. As long as you ship to just that address, they won't be able to reverse the charge with PP.
