I've noticed that people often sell items even though reserves aren't met....how can I pay for the item if the seller still wants to sell the item anyway? Since ebay counts it as a loss of auction it won't let you pay for it.Do I just go straight to paypal and enter the auction number? and pay that way or is this ill advised.

I see no problem with it, but AFAIK, you're not protected if the seller is trying to scam you. That being said, if the seller has decent feedback and the price is reasonable, I see no reason not to purchase it.

thanks..I've bought things before outside of ebay for a few bucks...even though it's not legal according to them. This one is $40 and she's a new seller..no feedback...it's a childs toy and the way she presented herself and the item looks legit. I really doubt someone will create an account with 2 childrens toys just to scam..but you never know I guess.
