Ebay problem buyers...

I swear I forget one check box and I always get the crappy buyers. I sold a CPU on ebay set it buy it now and forgot the click the little box that says "require immediate payment" for buy it now. Someone bought it and I have yet to hear from them. Its been 3 days. I've had this happen before, the buyer uses buy it now and then, nothing. You never hear from them again. WTF. I bet I got through then entire non paying bidder system, give him a negative and STILL never hear from him. This is like the third time this has happened in my 4 years of using ebay. I still dont understand these people.

Tried, the only thing is it takes a god aweful time to sell stuff. I dont have a month to wait for an item to sell. Not to mention the "Oh your heat is low can you ship first?" and "Sorry your ebay feedback dont mean $#!t we use heatware here and yours is too low". Heat: like 5 Ebay: 88

price it right, it'll sell soon enough,
heat helps prevent your no show buyers...your low heat simply means you might need to ship first or possibly cross ship

QFT, I'm a gold powerseller on ebay w/ over 10k / month in sales and 800+ 99% FB, yet my heat is only 25 so I'm a "noob trader"

😕

Not to mention the fact that too many people in FS/T want their item shipped two minutes after they pay. I'm a quick shipper but I'm not THAT quick.

FS/T has its place though.

Two minutes is unreasonable, but within two days isn't. If you want the buyer to pay you quickly, then the buyer expects for it to be shipped quickly. It's that simple.

Ebay feedback doesn't mean a damn thing here, and for good reason. It's too easy to use someone else's ebay feedback and pass it off as their own. Just like if someone has 200 heatware feedback and 10 ebay references, they will still be considered a "noob" at ebay.

Why is it not as hard to use someone elses feedback on heat than ebay? Ebay's faster and has more things. I buy and sell more things off of ebay because I am not always buying computer stuff online, hence I dont have much heat. If your too stupid to see my email address, and username are all the same in heat, anandtech, and ebay then something is wrong. Not to mention that if you dont believe that it is my feedback use the contact seller button in ebay and use that to send me a message, I bet I will email you right back...

again, like I said, FS/T has its place. Another fun FS/T occurence is when the buyers like to negotiate trading after the payment has been made. e.g. - "You're going to ship it Priority, right?"

Ask questions BEFORE making payment.

If someone had 200 heatware and decided to sell on ebay, I would consider their heatware feedback, just as I would consider huge ebay feedback if someone is selling outside of ebay. It would not be the only consideration, but I would still look. IMO, people are too quick to dismiss ebay feedback, especially feedback like mine, which consists almost entirely of items I've sold.

I was merely stating an observation. Feel free to ignore everyone's ebay feedback. You have my permission.
