eBay PowerSeller: Just got the invitation. Should I accept it?

I just got an email from eBay that I can now be classified as a powerseller. Should I accept it?

Are there any benefits or any costs that are associated with becoming one (membership fees)?

Why dont you read the FAQ or whatever they have regards to being a power seller.

I googled it but just making sure there is not any "fine print."

I think I do pretty good. My net was $1000 over the course of one month. Gross was WAY above that but fees etc take an avg of 6% and some items were high ticket items so not much profit margin.

I am hoping to do more and more the more I learn about what to buy etc from estate/garage sales.

Any tips or anything you can give out man? I am really trying to make some extra $$ on the side and I know ebay is a gold mine, but I just do not know what to throw on there. I made some $$ off of 360's but that craze is obviously over now.

PM me if you don't want to put it in the thread. thanks.

Its not, I sold ~ $$$$ gross last month alone and I had a message when I logged into "My eBay"

I'm a Powerseller silver & it doesn't cost anything. The only benefit is you get priority email support & an optional health insurance card thing (costs money). But the best thing is the power seller star next by your name which will give potential buyers more insurance when buying your item.

I'm a Platinum level Power Seller. It's free, you get better support, and you look good to buyers. Go for it.

Do you sell stuff you have laying around or things you buy at rummage sales or are there the companies that you sell online for them and they ship the stuff and things like that. I always thought that was a neat idea but of course those cost money to join and get started. But my wife is a stay-at-home mom and would love somethin glike that to make some extra cash.

What level PowerSeller? Their initial requirements are quite small; I think $1000/mo will get you an invite.
