Hasn't happened to me, but one of the sellers I bought from ran off with people's money about 2 months after I made a purchase. He was a power seller that just decided to use it to scam as much money quickly as possible. This is probably the same here.

One of the best ways to scam, is to gain people's trust and do legit business for a year or more, then bail out when everyone is not looking.

The fraudulent seller might have did a balance transfer to his bank, and "zeroed" out his paypal account. That will certainly make sure that Paypal does not refund any money to the buyer. "TAKES 3-4 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY" HA...

Usually when an individual is so devoted to their girlfriend and she leaves, that individual breaks down.

Especially the first love leaving. Without friends or support, it can destroy an individual.

I am assuming this individual is 18-20. He was mostly selling video games so I take it he worked at a video game store.

That's about the dumbest thing I've ever read. There are PLENTY of places to buy items besides EBAY and your big box retailers ala CC, BB, Walmart etc..
