ebay phishing

Recently I got an scam email from an ebay phisher, and reported to ebay and they thanked me and said they have reported to the appropriate authorities.
Not long after I read an article about 20,000 stolen passwords from myspace:
http://cyber-knowledge.net/blog/2006/09/16/analyzing-20000-myspace-passwords/

I personally thought it was funny that for example, people used "f__kyou" and "password" for their passwords, so I went to the site of that phishing scam I was sent (still up 3 days after my report to ebay) and inputed some BS myself (in case anyone is curious, it always says "invalid user/pw", I suppose it was designed that way.

Besides reporting to the real site and blocking the spam, what do you guys do when you get phishing emails? And isn't 3 days rather long? If not, how long does it usually take to shut down a site? I can post the site address if anyone wants it

The ones that the spam filter doesn't catch get deleted.

i work at a hosting company and we get phishing problems all the time, either with our free web hosting or by some means of a wget on our premium hosting, there is always someone there to take it down within minutes if not seconds. hell im the one that takes them down from 3-11pm

Got another one from some other mofo and reported. Ebay's hella fast about these- in both cases I get the auto-reply and the 2nd message saying they have reported it in less than 10 minutes.
