eBay/Paypal paying question

I recently won an eBay auction that I want to pay using a credit card. But, I have some funds in my Paypal account (money that I'm keeping for a fantasy football league).

Paypal won't let me bypass the funds in the account and let me fully pay for the auction using my credit card. So let's say the auction costs $400. I have $100 in my paypal account. Paypal won't let me just pay $400 from my credit card. Instead, I'll have to pay $100 from my paypal account and the other $300 from my credit card.

Is there anyway around this?

transfer the money to your bank account. use your credit card.. then transfer your cash back to your paypal account.

If he wants it immediately, PayPal your FF money to someone, pay for the eBay item, and then have them refund you. There will be no fees.

Won't there be fees if I Paypal my FF money to someone with a Premier account?

Yes, but they will be refunded when the payment is refunded.

I thought I saw a tab in there somewhere when paying you can slelect and a pull down sceen apears asking if you want the funds taken from checking, credit card, or from the account.

its been awile but damnit I swear I saw that kinda hidden at the end when you go to pay. If not I like the ide up there a bit about pp the money to a friend. I would never of thought of that and SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH dont let pp find out or they will find a way to still charge something.

I looked it up on Paypal.

Q: If I send a refund, and it is accepted, are the fees from the original transaction credited to my account?

A: Yes. If you send a full refund using the Refund Payment link within 60 days of receiving the payment, PayPal automatically refunds the transaction fees. If you send a partial refund, the percentage of fees refunded is based on the percentage of the original transaction amount.

The wording is weird here. Who gets the refunded fees....the person sending the refund (ie the seller in a transaction), or the person who receives the refund (the buyer)?

The person who was sent the money in the first place, since they were the ones charged it in the first place.
