At least a week or two. Some people have more important things going on in their life such as work and children.

If it takes 2 weeks to get your payment, then it should take you 2 weeks to ship the item after you received payment.

I feel for you. When I buy from ebay, I pay within hours.

you must wait a week before dispute it, even if buyer says they dont even want it, i buy things all the time and dont pay instantly, should i stop what im doing and pay that second the item finishes? i have program that does bidding at last second for me..

most coherent spaceman thread ever...

OP, i usually contact the winner right after the auction ends to see what their plan is.

I do my finances on the weekend. If I win an Ebay auction on a Monday, I might not get to it until Saturday or Sunday.

i guess from now on i will start adding in the description that you have 3 days to pay before i cancel the transaction and relist

I don't understand why you wouldn't pay instantly. It's so easy to click the pay now button, put your password in, and go.

It's almost more work having to intentionally log out, then later log back in, click the "items recently won" link, click the item, click the pay now, put your ebay pw in, click the pay now button again, put your paypal pw in, etc.
