"Why would I waste my time seeking out opinions on non-factual data that only I had use for?"

Because human beings want people to think they are basically decent. As I said, you want to know if sticking this guy is generally ok with your peers.

There is no other reason for you to ask.

I don't think you're arguing a point intended for you, but I digress. If I provided information that was somehow incomplete I would just be lying to myself. Your rebuttal merely affirms this.

I still think that if you have the correct sleave.. just suck it up.. have him ship it back to you at his expense and you will ship the correct one back to him at your expense and be done with it.! Its not THAT hard.

It cant possibly be THAT expensive to do this.

I'm inclined to concur with this. As long as it's not (gasp) global express, I think they must charter a plane for each individual package at those rates. 😀

Did your text description of the item conflict with the photo? If your text implied nothing about the sleeve, then the buyer should bear the cost.

For how much did the item sell? If it was expensive collectible, the buyer may be more inclined to have the correct sleeve 😉

ahem...

Reasons someone might not post a link to an ebay auction on ATOT:

They don't want people interfering with their auctions, be it buying or selling.

They don't want people to see what they have bought.

They don't want people giving them negative feedback.

They don't want people knowing personal information about them.

I'm sure there are more..but I can't think of them now. Anyone who said he is lying about this, is full of sh!t. Get a damn clue you morons.

The buyer obviously assumed it would come with the correct sleeve. That's no fault of his. So he buys it, and is then informed that he has to pay extra shipping to get what he thought he was buying. Pay for the shipping, and avoid the negative feedback.

As far as im aware.. you cant leave feedback without actually winning an auction and dealing with that person. So i dont think that would matter.. but i agree.. i dont want people knowing my personal information and what i tend to buy.

Good point, but which is greater- the assumption that the pictured sleeve belongs to the pictured watch, or the pictures themselves?

Here's a photo from the auction.

It's pretty clear what's being sold. 🙂

Edit: The buyer upon receipt realized it's the wrong sleeve and provided this photo.

No I don't, but didn't you use to be someone else 😉

edit: The picture is very clear, (Did you say "As pictured"?) so I think you don't have to pay. Why don't you offer to sell the buyer the other watch and sleeve too?

The first two words are "As pictured."😀
