Ebay Notices in Other Languages ?!?

So last night I checked my ebay email and I had 3 notices in French.

Today I checked and I have 2 in German and 2 in Japanese.

I e-mailed a friend and he's getting the same thing. . . . Just want to confirm I'm not alone/crazy.

Ideas, speculation, links to other threads about the same topic?

Yeah I've been getting a lot of notices/warnings from eBay lately that were written in Nigerian. I went to the site and entered my info but nothing happened. At least the notices/warnings have stopped.

yeah I got one in German the other day. At first I dismissed it as a phishing attempt, but in the body was a mention of an item I was watching. There weren't any links; it was just an email that said "Watched items ending soon" in German. Weird.
