<extreme sarcasm>No, sellers won't trust you. You have to buy an established ebay account off ebay. Nobody ever starts at zero.</extreme sarcasm>

It's fine to be a buyer with zero feedback. No one is going to ship until they get your money so sellers don't have to worry.

Be prompt and polite in your communications after you win, read the entire auction carefully before bidding. Where most n00bs mess up is in not reading the whole auction first, then they either want to back out after winning or try to change the deal or don't want to pay in one of the forms of payment the seller specified.

I cannot emphasize this enough.

Make sure you know what you're bidding on. If you have any doubts about the product, it's condition or shipping, please ask the seller questions before bidding. A lot of people make the mistake of bidding, winning the auction then asking questions or changing their mind on the auction.

If anyone with less than 5 feedback bids on my auctions, I send them a message. If they don't respond within a day I cancel their bid.

I suggest bidding on expensive cars in eBay Motors to build trust with sellers.

Once you own several very expensive cars, you will seem very trustworthy and I will allow you to bid on my Beanie baby collection.

I don't sell/ship to anyone with zero feedback, no matter how much they want to spend. I don't allow anyone with less then five feedback to bid on my auction unless they obtained my permission first. I've had this policy for a while now and it helped a lot as far as keeping deabeats/scammers away.
