If a buyer in Japan is willing to pay via PayPal, is there anyway I could be defrauded? I know it's a dumb questions, but I've hardly used the place.

Personally I never do any international shipping on ebay. The hassle just isn't worth it to me even if they guy is legit.

you can easily be defrauded if they use a stolen credit card. then paypal can ask for your money back, as long as the address in japan is not confirmed (do they confirm international addresses?) anyway bottom line...don't do it.

The extra time it takes to fill out the customs paperwork at the post office isn't worth it to me. I have no trouble selling someting to someone inside the US... so there's no benefit for me to ship over seas. Unless of course the buyer is willing to pay double my Buy it Now price. :D

the advice given here is good. unless you're a power seller and have experience with such transactions, it's really not worth the hassle.

I don't think an Overseas address can be confirmed, but i'm not 100% sure. Make sure you check on that before going through with the deal
