OK, I'm selling a slide projector on Ebay, with a starting bid of $49.95 and a Buy It Now price of $199.95. So this guys buys it now. He then sends me an email saying he made a mistake and only meant to bid, not buy it now. I want to help him out, but how can I get my item relisted for free?

file for an "unpaid item" and then request your final fees to be refunded.

whether you leave a negative feedback is up to you.

There's no reason for that unless the n00b won't pay for the fees + relisting the item.

Use the mutual agreement option, the bidder will not get a NPB (or at least I think they won't, the system is a bit wierd since they changed it) and the seller will get the final fees back. Win win situation without making the bidder pay too much in fees.
