ebay money troubles

I ordered a bike from ebay yesterday, its cost me 434 with shipping, the seller wasn't a person, but a bike shop selling their older models online, anyway i don't think the problem is them, so i order the bike, and pay with paypal which is hooked up to my fleet checking account, the 434 was withdrawn yesterday after i bought the bike, and i looked at my statment onlin, and i notice that another 434 was withdrawn today, it doesn't say from where, just subject to verification, but i'm still out 868 beans, whats going on?

PayPal does this frequently - they put through an original "pending" charge, then in a day or so, deduct the actual amount. It'll show on your statement as a double charge, but the original, pending charge will drop off in another day.

It sucks - I have no idea why they have to do it that way.

thank god, this is my first time using ebay and paypal and i thought someone got my cc number or i got ripped off, thanks for the help

No problem. The first time they did it to me, I about had a heart attack too. I don't usually have a ton of extra money in that bank account, so I was freaking out that stuff was going to start bouncing.

What Chrichtons said. One of the orders shows up as "pending" the other as "completed." The Pending one will be cancelled.

and since u used a debit card
cause thats what it looks like
they will do another 434
