eBay light stands/umbrellas?

Has anyone tried these before? I'm looking for an inexpensive way to get into off-camera flash, and I've already purchased a YN RF602 wireless transmitter kit based on positive reviews from POTN, so I just need a light stand/umbrella kit and a flash.

For the flash I'm planning to either upgrade my 420EX to a 430EX for the manual power controls, or get a second flash like an SB-24 or 540EZ that has manual controls.

This just leaves umbrellas and light stands...

I found this kit from a US based eBay seller that includes two 7 foot stands, two antennas, and two flash mounts for around $50 ish shipped. Does this seem like a good choice for someone starting out in off-camera flash?

I had one of their sets. The tripods are decent quality. The umbrellas are pretty cheap. I bought one that was fixed lighting and came with big fluorescent bulbs that gave off a very harsh white light that I didn't have any luck balancing correctly. I had better luck with some cheap work lights from Lowes.

Anyway, if you are planning to use a quality flash with them, I think that they are reasonable.

I might get some ebay stands. I ended up getting 45" convertible umbrellas from B&H since the ebay ones were shoot-through only in that price range.
