ebay id verify

I'm using id verify so I can sell on ebay and because I don't have a credit card, and apparently I have to mail copies of a few documents in (though they didn't mention this when I started the process :|). I'm gonna have to send in a copy of my drivers license, savings account statement, and birth certificate. are there any items on these that I should black out after copying? and if I want to just forget the whole thing, is there any chance that I haven't yet been charged the $5 fee?

edit: and if signing up for and owning a credit card isn't as much hassle as I think it is, does someone want to give me some pointers in that department?

so you don't have any form of credit card you can use? Not even a bank card?
I have an atm card...

does that work like a checkings/bank card? If so, then u can use that for ebay.
it doesn't work as a debit card if that's what you mean.

I went to sell something on ebay the other day for the first time and all that credit card jazz came up. After I finished filling it all out I just said 'screw it' and sold it on a forum instead. There's just to many hoops to jump through and to much crap on ebay now...its hardly even worth dealing with anymore. I think I might just delete my ebay account...its only got like 14 feedback.

Good!

The reason I asked is because you could send Paypal to someone who has a credit card. They in turn can send you a 16 digit MasterCard credit card number (with expiration date and 3 digit security code) through WebCertificate.com I have used WebCert several times and it works great, the only "catch" is their processing fee which is around $3.95

thanks. I already sent the stuff in, and I'm pretty sure they already charged me... but that might come in handy in the future.
