Ebay: How long to wait for the buyer to contact you?

The item sold on Thursday - since then no word from the buyer. I've sent him an invoice - still nada. How long should wait before leaving a negative and making an offer to the second highest bidder.
 
I would say wait till monday/tuesday....people do have lives on weekends....sometimes ebay has to come second no matter how pissy you wanna get 😛
 
I say what DorkBoy says is about right, but I give them a business week (5 days) to respond. Some people bid on items over the weekend especially, and don't have a chance to reply until they get back due to how Ebay is set up. One thing I don't tolerate is sellers not responding to an e-mail within one day. That's different - the buyer has everything to lose on Ebay.
 
Whenever I'm selling something on Ebay, I usually put something to the effect that winning bidder must submit payment within "whatever number* of days after the auction ends.

To answer your question, maybe wait 'til the 3rd day...which would be tomorrow, Sunday Oct 10.
