it does not say: NO LONGER a registered user. It says NOT a regitered user. there is a huge difference.

more importanly than that... he says:
I cannot get in touch with you if you use the "Ask seller a question" option, so please e-mail me directly. My eBay contact is currently unavailable because I've reached the e-mail storage limit and I wouldn't be able to answer any of your questions.

this is completely untrue. you dont get a storage limit for emails. ebay does not store your emails.. they only direct them to you registered email address. the only limitations he could possibly have is how many emails he is allowed to have appear in his auction.

EDIT: and he has FOUR different msn email addresses.

I feel sorry for the original owner of the acount. He's been building it up to over 1500 feedback since 97 and along comes this hijacker and trashes it.

Odds are the account holder was foolish enough to enter his information on an ebay scam site or had too easy a password. Still sucks for them though.

there are certain things that non registered users can do. i have never tried to sell when not registered so i dont know if that is one of them. No longer registered means that you got kicked off/banned.

I'd have to think they mean the same thing - for all I know, you have to be a registered user to be able to post an auction, right?
