I was surfing around and on a contractor's website, I saw this and recognized the name:

It's allegedly Pierre Omidyar's (founder of eBay).

-77,000 Square feet
-11 bedrooms
-35 bathrooms

The think some of the interior is boring, but the exterior and pool is awesome. Note: Some of the bathroom pics are of the guest bathrooms. There are no photos of the master bedroom or bathroom.

And get this, it's only the second largest house in Vegas. Brownie points to who knows the largest.

Meh. Looks like a convention center, or a religious retreat. I guess money can't buy taste :^D

I'm not a very materialistic person, but pics of these mansions always make me jealous as hell.

I'd like to make a rule for this thread. If you make this comment "money cannot buy taste" you have to post a pic of your house first and then you can say it. I hear that so many times it makes me sick, mostly from people who probably have HGTV-like retro nonsense in their front rooms. (ie http://www.interiordesign.net/photo/294/294417-HSTAR409_Antonio_Bdr1_Aft_008.jpg )

I don't have pictures, but it's a 60s era stone rancher. The bedroom furniture is French provincial, and the dining room and living room are Italian provincial. The family room and kitchen are miscellaneous stuff circa 1980s.

Some things are very nice, like the wine room. But I think a lot of it could be improved by making it smaller. I agree, without having a large number of people to fill so much open space it feels ackward and strange. Like the curving staircase. That's pretty nice but it's so damn big. I'd want something of that size in a high school at passing periods not in a house.

Whatever. Money can't buy taste. And the idea that you can tell what my house and furnishings are like from me stating this eternal truism is simply ridiculous. Get over yourself. No pics for YOU.

He's just still sore about the fact that nobody cares about all the money he spends on his jeans.
