ebay feedback + postcount will generally excuse you from heatware for a while...but heatware is still preferred.

All depends on the person. I sure wouldn't mind, given you have a LOT of positive feedback.

I've always used my eBay feedback instead of Heatware in FS/FT and haven't had any problems yet...I have 26 positive evaluations and am ID verified...

I think eBay evals are worth about half as much as Heatware IMO... postcount helps too... someone who has been here long enough to post 2,000 times probably isn't going to just scam you for a small item and never show up to the forums again.
