Ebay email Scam!?!?

I received an email that stated the following:

Screen Shot of email

Something is fishy about this... the link takes you to http://ebayvalidation.com/

First, the form is not secure.
Secondly, ebay ALWAYS has you login first, not after you enter the information
Third, it would be easy to duplicate ebay's page even w/ links that goes to THEIR site.

I logged into the real ebay and didn't show anything about my account needing to get updated.

Is this a scam? anyone heard anything about this?

i'd ignore it.. worst they can do is suspend your account if its legit and if they do, then you can fix it right up

haha! good point... i was going to look the domain registeree info up but didn't.

they didn't even come CLOSE...very tricky though with the ebay links and stuff

i dont understand hwo people think they can charge a stolen credit card and get away with it. seems like too many ways to trace it (especially with dumb f**s like that one who hase it traceable through her WHOIS)

If that's a real name in the WHOIS, the are pretty freaking stupid.

I like the part where it claims that it can process you faster if you add a second credit card 😀

**WARNING: THAT IS A JOKE, IF YOU DO THIS, YOU ARE EVEN STUPIDER THAN WE THOUGHT!**

search superpages.com - type in her last name and the city/state and you'll get like 12 people under the Route 2 with the same last name.
