So I'm thinking of bidding on this computer on ebay, however the specs are making me a little suspicious.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAP...me=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=009

It has two 8800 gtx ultras in it, 4 gb ram, 22 inch lcd monitor and so on. This is a $4000 computer and he has no reserve on it...would you guys bid on this?

also, I just checked his feedback history, and it's all in the last few months and all the items were mystery packages ranging from $1 to 3$.

I wouldn't touch him. All seller comments. Not one from a buyer. Very suspicious. Could be legite. Probably not.

Bid $1 on it. It's worth $1 plus shipping to expose one of the 100's of thousands of e-bay crooks.

One thing that really stood out to me was that the case in the pic has no fan mounted in the rear of it. There's a place for what looks like a 120mm fan but it's empty. A computer like that is gonna be putting off some SERIOUS heat and if he's running a computer like that with no rear exhaust he's either already cooked it or it's on it's way to being cooked. Unless of course that's all it is: JUST a case.

I boycotted eBay a long time ago so I'd say stay away just for the fact that it's on eBay but boycott or not, I wouldn't bid.
