If you are buyer, should you wait until the seller puts a comment about the sale first and then you put a comment for him.

I have put comments in the past for sellers first and then never get a comment back from sellers.

what do you guys think.

I typically expect the seller to give me feedback as soon as he receives payment, and then I give him/her feedback after receiving the product.

When dealing with users who have a very high feedback, typically they expect you to always go first, ecspecially if you have a very low feedback. Mainly to minimize the chances of a "rogue" ebayer, who puts a dent into their rating for whatever reason.

i always figured buyer should be first to acknowledge receipt of the item in said condition. i usually just wait and if after a week or two they haven't left anything i leave them something, that prompts some of them to leave feedback, while others are just too lazy i guess.

Just leave your feedback when you receive the items. In my experience, most of the sellers that I've dealt with leave me a positive shortly after I leave one for them.
