ebay - /can i email someone through e-bay to sell something?

They bid on an item i'm going to sell....they did not meet reserve, i want to offer them my item for the price they bid....is that against the rules?

i forget, but i think it is. you're trying to circumvent their fees.

that's why they stopped showing the email of bidders to non-sellers. you have to use a form to send out an email.

then that will be between you and him/her. Just email to see if they interest. Also, show your feedback to them.

well i know i can use the form to send e-mail, didn't want to break any big rules or anything.....

actually, i believe there is something called "second chance offer" or something like that. If you go to your personal page and look under the items you're selling I think it's there or it will apear there once the bidding is over. I think you can do that legit.
