Just ouf of curiosity, what do you consider an acceptable time frame to ship items out after and auction has ended and payment had been made?

2 business days if you are good. 5-7days max

Some people work and etc. Post Office times suck and the lines suck

If it's more than two or three days after the auction, I'll jump up to the next fastest shipping option and eat the cost.

Ok. I generally avoid eBay like the plague but I ended up buying something there the other day. The auction stated 1-4 business days to ship. It took 6, and this was after I emailed them to ask whether or not it had shipped out. Was just wondering if this was standard for eBay.

I start getting pissed after 2-3 days. If there is no buy it now option, the seller knows when the item is going to end and should be ready to ship it.

No more than a week. Most people are much quicker, but there are plenty of ebay sellers who only dabble in it and might only be able to get to a post office on Saturdays. I know someone from another board who has to pick up their mail at their Post Office (no home delivery) and the PO is only open 8-5 weekdays, so for them to get to the Post Office they have to use their lunch hour.

if it doesn't say on the description when it will be shiped out, 2-3 days max. after that i'd start to get a little pissed. i paid for the item and want it asap.
