That Ti200 will likely end up as a return to a store like CompUSA while they walk away with a new, working card for $26 plus a little of their time.

So, who is more stupid...the person that buys a dead card or the person that sells a dead card? Well....probably buy, but i would never sell a dead card. :)

I am often amazed by what people will buy, and what they will pay. You have to love it, as it makes system upgrades cheap and painless.

What I want to know is why does a dead card cost less to ship than a working one unless you include insurance, etc.

If you feel the items were not worth what they sold for, you have the power to do the right thing and return the difference.

You buy and sell things to try and make money right? If you are an ethical reseller this wont be a problem for you. Otherwise this is no better than the corporate evil that we so disgust these days.

say what? These are personal items, I'm not "reselling" them in a corporate or profit-driven sense.

I'm not going to go to the trouble of packing it as well if it is dead.

a friend of mine sold 7 year old "studio" speakers for more than what he paid for 7 years back.

he clearly stated that he's been using it for 7 years.

i guess people don't know that these things have life expectancy...

Heck, you could just put some stamps on it and drop it in a box. :D
