Hi.
Am putting this in cameras cause it centers on my low end little Nikon Coolpix.
I notice my original battery was not holding a charge as once, so, I went onto ebay and chose an incredibly cheap replacement from a big vendor with good feedback.
The second I put the new batt in my charger, I knew sumthin was wrong: the charging lite flickered wildly as opposed to blinking deliberately and normally. I then tried my original batt, to make sure the charger was fine and it was.
I emailed the vendor thinking, perhaps I might never hear back given this thing cost FOUR DOLLARS. But, just earlier.......my inherent faith in humans was confirmed:
Dear cecompass,
Hi,
I so regret to report, the item arrived normally, I never needed a replacement batt for my Coolpix S210 before, the original one still has some life.
I put the new batt in my charger, saw right off the lite was not blinking in a normal, deliberate way indicating normal charge; it was flickering hysterically..
But I left it, and, after a long interval during which it should have charged, I tried it in the camera and, nothing.
Can you please help me understand this? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.

Dear Customer,
Could you please confirm whether the battery can be recharged?
Thank you.

Hi.
So happy to hear from you!
As I shared, NO, when I put the new battery in my Nikon charger, the charging lite flickered manically, it did not blink normally.....I knew right off something was wrong. I also tested my original battery after, and it charged normally in the charger.
