ebay auction removed for wow beta key invite

I was sent an invite and quit the game a few days later. I sold the invite on ebay and a week later get an email that the auction was pulled (after it was over) and that i was in violation of some law or licensing agreement.

I dont play the game anymore. What possible licensing agreement could I have broken? I read and re-read the beta invite and there is no verbage there to suggest I broke any licensing agreement.

I sent an email to nharms@blizzard.com to get more info.

hmm, no gold sold, no character sold.. no software sold..

try again? The invite does not say its only for my character. It says I was selected to participate but nowhere does it say I could not sell it.

no, the 1st expansion ever.
the other stuff was patches that added some new content and stuff. they never called it an expansion though.
