Do you guys get queezy when your eBay auctions are in the last 3 minutes? I have a Dell 2405FPW that is ending very soon (4 minutes now).

I think I've refreshed 100 times.

usually the last five minutes are the most active because people want to get in on a good deal if they can find it, which eventually skyrockets the price.

Sold to a local bidder! So it is $745 + $50, with no PayPal fees. That's a sweet $185 profit after eBay insertion fees, etc are taken out.

only when I'm shill bidding

do you mean sniping?

if sniping is bidding on my own auctions to inflate the ending price, then yes, I mean sniping

Ha! no, sniping is waiting until the last second or so of an auction before bidding.
if you get caught shill bidding... they will close you down. be careful. ;)

The $600 2405FPW deal was a Craigslist fluke. I bought one for myself, and when he drove here to deliver it, he asked if I knew anyone else looking for one. I did indeed. I emailed him back saying I would also buy the second LCD.

Long story short:

Buy LCD: $600
Buy LCD: $600
Sell LCD: $800

Net cost of LCD: $400

Not to mention that I sold my old 17" for $255. So overall, it was a $145 upgrade from 17" to 24" ...
