EBAy and shipping to PO Boxes

I'm assuming once in a while it's a scam. But is it generally safe?

Yeah, seems safe to me, as long as you get the money and it clears. I live in Alaska, and in this particular town, we don't have door-to-door mail service, so I've gotten a few people being cautious and not wanting to send to me, but if it's sent USPS -- it HAS to go to my PO box or there's no possible way I can get it, unless it's shipped with UPS or FedEx.

if you received payment with paypal, you need to ship to a confirmed addy. Anything over $250 requires a signature so Fedex, etc won't ship to PO Boxes.
If they pay with cash, check or bidpay, etc, I would ship anywhere in the US as long as the check cleared.
