I had 10$ in Movie Gift Certs that I got as a gift, but the theatre was located in acity Idon't live in, so I sold them on ebay for about 9 cks. I didn't think that I would need delivery confirmation because well, I just mailed them in an envelope first class. Fast forward two weeks this dude emails me, and says he has not recieved anyhting what should I do? I could just paypall him a refund. I was stupid and didn't use DC and I think he is trying to rip me off. Any ideas or suggestions?

Unless you can prove you sent them, you'll probably have to buy some more and mail them to him. Why would you sell a gift cert online for a theater in your town? Do you not like movies?

Since there was no proof of mailing, the only thing I can think of is (a) hope those gift certificates had some unique identifiers, (b) you wrote them down before sending, (c) you can have those GCs voided and reported stolen (by the identifier) and see if you can't get replacements.

:( Sorry, but I'm not sure what other recourse you have.

Nope, you learned a lesson but at least it was a cheap one! It could have been much, much, worse.

Really sorry to hear that, most eBay buyers are pretty decent people. The way I see it is that you have to give him back the Paypal funds. That will be the easiest way to get rid of the problem. Good luck next time.
