Just bought something from an ebay auction for $275
Guy only accepts M.O.'s or cashier checks
Has 54 positives, 1 negative (contested) - ALL BUYS
This his first sale.
Emails me a P.O. Box to send M.O. to.
Should I demand real address or risk it?

I would send him an email, and simply state that you're concerned about sending him almost $300 to a post office box. I'm sure he'll understand and either give you a real address or a phone number (ask for this). Then call the number to verify it's right and everything else should be fine. A respectable seller will be willing to do this. Good luck!

<< Email some of the people that left him positive feedback and ask them how they paid>>

None of them paid, he was the BUYER in all cases prior to this.

in the post it is stated this is his first sell, there is no feedback from people who paid, because there were none.

If you are uncomfortable with the P.O. Box, just email him and tell him to give you the real address or at least a phone number. The seller shouldn't have a problem with this, and if they do it may seem like they are hiding something.

If he is a stand up guy, there should be no problems with your requesting his address and phone number. Good luck!

What did you buy?

Get a physical address. He has one, if he has ever received a UPS package. If not, have him give you his work address.

I would NEVER send that much money to a PO box..
