ebay $228 shipping for a phone

There was another thread just posted about this actually... it is a scam so the seller doesn't have to pay fees on high-price items.

S/H is $12( i use priority mail so you should recieve item wthin 2-3days after shipment, this only goes for the lower 48states)

so I'd think the bidder could get out of it by complaining to eBay.

And if it's a fee avoidance scam...eBay will shut it down themselves.
 
It's to save on Ebay fees. You pay a percentage of the winning bid but you don't do that with shipping. It's a scam and when Ebay catches on I'm sure they'll NARU him.
